Easy boondhi Ladoo

Besan flour or chick pea powder : 1 cup
Salt : 1 pinch
Yellow food colour: 2 drops
Baking soda: 1 pinch
Water: as required
Sugar
Cardamom powder:1/2 teaspoon
Ghee: 1 teaspoon
Cashew and raisins:10
Oil: for frying boondies


First of all we prepare boondies.for that make a batter with besan flour ,salt, baking soda and food colour by adding water.the consistency should be semi thick.heat  oil in a pan and pour the batter through a holed strainer or boondi strainer in such a way that we get small ball shaped boondies out of it.fry the boondies until crispy.make boondies with whole batter and keep it aside.now we want to make sugar syrup.melt sugar with 3/4 cup water  and add cardamom powder and 1 drop of yellow colour if needed.if u want add 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice into the syrup to avoid crystallisation of sugar. Crush 3/4 th of the boondies.add this to a bowl along with the remaining boondies and pour the sugar syrup over it .add roasted raisins,cashews and ghee.wait until the sugar syrup is fully absorbed by the boondies.then make lemon shaped balls from it.now the yummy boondi Ladoo is ready to serve.enjoy 😍
