Beef Pickle

Beef: 1/2 kg
Ginger chopped: 11/2 table spoon
Garlic chopped: 2 table spoon
Turmeric powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Kashmiri chilli powder: 1 teaspoon
Sugar: 1/2 teaspoon
Red chilli powder: 21/2 teaspoon
Green chillies: 5
Fenugreek seeds: 1/2 teaspoon
Mustard seeds: 1/2 teaspoon
Vinegar: 1/2 cup
Boiled water: 1/2 cup
Salt: as required
Oil: for frying beef
Gingelly oil: 4 table spoon
Fenugreek powder:1/4 teaspoon
Hing powder:1/4 teaspoon
Cumin seed powder: 1 pinch
For marination of beef:

Turmeric powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Kashmiri chilli powder: 1 teaspoon
Salt: to taste
Lemon juice: 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala powder: 1 pinch
Cut the beef into small pieces.wash clean and drain.Marinate the beef with all the mentioned ingredients.keep it for 2 hrs.cook it in a pressure cooker very well.Then fry the beef in oil.Now heat a kadai and add gingelly oil.splutter mustard and fenugreek seeds.add chopped ginger and garlic.sort well.Now add crushed green chillies and sort well.Now add curry leaves and all the powders except fenugreek and hing.sort well until the raw smell goes.Now add salt and boiled water.Add vinegar and allow to boil.N ow add fried beef pieces.Mix well and allow to boil until 3/4 th of the water evaporates.Add sugar to balance the taste level.Now add hing powder and fenugreek powder.Add some curry leaves also.Mix well and switch off the flame.when it cools down store in an airtight glass bottle.It is very tasty pickle.Try this and leave your comments.
