Tasty pumpkin halwa

Pumpkin(chopped): 1 cup
Red moong beans(Van payar):2 table spoon
Jaggery:250 grams
Rice flour: 1 table spoon
Ghee:1 teaspoon
Thick coconut milk: 1 cup
Cardamom powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Salt: 1 pinch


Into a pressure cooker add pumpkin and soaked red moong beans with salt and required water.cook for 3 whistles.melt jaggery and strain it.after the pressure releases ,mash vegetables.add melted jaggery into it.switch on the flame and allow to boil.add rice flour mixed with coconut milk.stir well until it gets thickened.add cardamom powder and ghee.mix well until it separates from the pan.now switch off the flame.the yummy halwa is ready now.children likes this very much.try and enjoy😘
