instant jalebi

Hi friends...
This is my first recipe..

INSTANT JALEBI
----------------------------

1.  urad dal                  :1 cup (soaked in water for 2 hrs and grind it well to get a thick paste)

2. Sugar                         :1 cup

3. Water                         :1/2 cup

4. Cardamom powder  :1 teaspoon

5. Orange juice              :1 teaspoon

6. Oil                                : for frying


  • Heat sugar and water in a pan until we get one string consistency.Mix cardamom powder and orange juice in it.Addsome yellow colour if needed.Fill the ground paste  in a zip lock bag or ketchup bottle and make a small cut on the bottom.Heat oil in a pan and pour the paste through the zip lock bag in round or flower like shapes.As soon as they cooked keep them in the sugar syrup for few minutes.Then we get sweet honey filled jalebies..!!
