Kerala Style Mutton Curry

Mutton: 1 kg
Onion: 2
Shallots: 1/2 cup
Tomato: 2 medium
Garlic paste: 2 teaspoon
Ginger paste: 3 teaspoon
Green chillies: 6
Turmeric powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Red chilli powder: 2 teaspoon
Coriander powder: 4 teaspoon
Fennel seed powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Pepper powder: 21/2 teaspoon
Garam masala powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Curry leaves: few
Coriander leaves: few
Coconut oil: 3 table spoon
Curd: 2 tablespoon
Salt: as required
Wash and clean the mutton pieces by using salt and lemon juice to remove it's excess smell.drain it and apply curd on it.keep it aside for half an hour to become the mutton soft and juicy.Then heat a pan and add coconut oil.add curry leaves and thinly sliced onion.sort well by adding required salt.Add sliced shallots and sort well until light brown.Now add ginger garlic paste and crushed chillies.sort again.when it becomes well sorted add all the masala powders one by one.sort well until the raw smell goes.Now add the chopped tomatoes and sort well until it is well mashed up.Now add the mutton pieces and required water.cook well until it becomes very soft.If you are using pressure cooker 8 whistles are enough.wait for the pressure releases automatically.Now open the pan and adjust the salt and spices level.add one sliced green chilli and some curry leaves and coriander leaves.close for 10 minutes.Now the tasty authentic Kerala nadan fish curry is ready now.It is well combined with ghee rice,porottas,pathiris,chapathis etc.pooris are the nice combination.Try this and enjoy😍
