Kerala authentic porotta

All purpose flour: 2 1/2 cup
Ghee: 6 table spoon
Oil: 6 table spoon
Salt: to taste
Sugar: 2 teaspoon
lnto a vessel,add all purpose flour,salt,sugar and 3 table spoon oil.mix well.Add required water slowly and knead well to get a soft dough.apply 1 teaspoon oil over the dough and cover with a wet cloth.leave for half an hour.Now make balls out of the dough.mix the remaining ghee and oil together.on the counter top ,apply the oil mix.Roll each ball with rolling pin as much thin as possible.c it it into thin strips with a knife or using a pizza cutter.Take all the strips together and make round shape.apply some oil over it.Make all the balls like this.Leave for half an hour .Now press each balls with your hands to get thin porotta.Heat a pan and apply oil mix.Roast each porotas both sides in medium flame by greezing with the oil mix frequently.roast it until both sides are getting golden colour.Now our tastier soft and flaky porotta is ready to serve now.our Kerala style beef curry is best combination for this.Try this and enjoy.Leave your comments.😘
