Vermicelli upma/semiya upma:

Vermicelli: 1 cup
Boiling water: 1+1/4 cup
Carrot chopped: 2 table spoon
Beans chopped: 2 table spoon
Curry leaves: few
Garlic : 4 cloves
Ginger: 1 small piece
Green chillies: 3
Tomato: 1
Onion: 1
Turmeric powder: 1/4 teaspoon
Chilli powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Salt: as required
Mustard seeds: 1/2 teaspoon
Ghee: 2 table spoon
Heat a pan and add ghee.roast the vermicelli until golden colour.keep it aside.ln the remaining ghee,splutter mustard seeds.add chopped onion,garlic,ginger and green chillies.sort well by adding salt.add chopped carrot and beans.sort well and close for 5 minutes.when it becomes soft,add chilli powder and turmeric powder.when the raw smell goes,add chopped tomato.sort well until well mashed up.Add boiling water.adjust the salt.add the vermicelli and close for 5 minutes in low flame.when the water evaporates fluff up with a fork.switchoff the flame.close for 5 minutes.then serve and enjoy
