White rice : 2 cups(soaked in water 4 hrs)
Urad dal : 1/4 cup
Cooked rice : 3 spoon
Sugar : 1 teaspoon
Grated coconut : 1/2 cup
Semolina : 5 spoon
Salt : as needed
Grind all the ingredients except semolina with some water.Mix semolina with water and heat it in a pan until it becomes thicker.Add this in to the rice batter when it becomes cool.Mix it well.The consistency should be little thinner than idly batter.Rest this 6 to 8 hrs.Then heat a non stick pan or appam pan.pour some batter and rotate the pan until bubbles are formed. cook in low to medium flame.cook all the appears in this manner.
