Rice Jaggery Vadas

White rice:1 cup
Jaggery: 500 g
Grated coconut: 1 cup
Cumin seeds: 1/2 teaspoon
Cardamom powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Shallots: 4
Salt: as required
Oil: for frying
Wash and Soak the white rice in water for 4 hours.After that drain it and grind it in a grinder.No need to get fine powder.Then melt jaggery and strain it.crush grated coconut,shallots and cumin seeds.lnto a bowl,add rice flour,melted jaggery,coconut mix and cardamom powder.mix well by adding required salt.The consistency of the batter should be such that we can make perfect vadas from that.Now leave it for 1 hour.Then make small balls and make hole at the center or in the shape of vada.Heat oil in a kadai.when it becomes very hot,drop each vadas and fry until light brown.so the tasty rice jaggery vadas are ready now.serve and enjoy😍
